How do you raise the straps on the Maxi-Cosi car seat?

5 Underneath the car seat is a metal "Y" that holds the straps to the tightening strap unhook the straps from this "Y" and pull them out the front of the car seat. Rethread through the slot you want them adjusted to and re attach to the "Y" underneath the car seat
