can't get the cover off to wash it how do u open the straps looks like a maze to me help

5 took me 2 hours going over the illustration of the manual but my mother in law figured it out by tracing aND RETRACING OVER AND OVER. WHOEVER WASHED IT LAST HAD ALL THE STRAPS GOING IN THE WRONG AREAS SO OBVIOUSLY THEY COULD NOT USE IT AND SOLD IT AT A YARD SALE. MAHALO FOR THE TIP. ALOHA!
