My monitor bebe sounds TV900-2C is working in black and white only! Please, help me!...

I bought my monitor in LA Janeiro/2011 on a trip and paid dearly for it. However, the image appears only in black and white. The instruction manual asks me to make sure the light sensor is not blocked. I checked and the problem continues. What should I do? I live in Brazil ... is there any assistance here? I have a small baby and very precise monitor in working order. Please help me! Thanks, Patricia
