2.2 Securing the Baby Seat
2.2.1 Securing on the Comfort and Cheetah2 models

First connect the fastex buckles
on the underside of the baby
seat with their counterparts on
the lap belt ends.
For side-fitting, use the belt
ends of the lap belt of the side
in question.
For fitting in the centre, use the
central belt ends of both lap
belts. Correct positioning of the baby
seat.
Experience has shown that it helps if more or less the following
overall belt length adjustment is made (measured from the point of
attachment to the baby seat to the point of attachment to the trailer
seat):
On the Comfort model - approximately 12 cm
On the Cabriolet and Cheetah2 models - 15 to 16 cm
Now lay both straps that are at the front end of the baby seat
around the fitted telescopic tube, thread the ends through the
fasteners, as in the top right hand picture, and pull the straps tight.
The next step is to connect the safety belts in the trailer with the baby seat:
Insert the trailer seat crotch
harness from the rear through
the slot in the baby seat in front
of the flap for the padding.
Insert the ring through the
elastic loop at the end of the
flap for the padding.
For side fitting, the crotch
harness of the seat part of the
relevant side can be used.
For centre-fitting, there is an
additional crotch harness in the
centre of the trailer seat.
