The 2009 City Series Car Seat Adaptor for Double Stroller is designed to
be used with only your City Mini, City Series, City Classic, City Elite or
Summit 360 double stroller. This car seat adaptor is only compatible with

Before you start, please refer to the usage guide located in the bottom left corner to determine which
adaptor pieces your car seat requires.
How to use your car seat adaptor safely
Adaptor Bracket
1 Un-Velcro seat from footplate area so that silver metal frame bars are visible.
2 Unsnap all snaps on seat below folding mechanism of double stroller.
3 Loosen adjustment knobs on double car seat adaptor.
4 Slide adaptor unit onto right side of the stroller frame.
5 Apply center clamp over center metal frame bar.
6 Tighten both adjustment knobs until center clamp is secure onto stroller frame.
7 On the right side of the stroller
frame, attach single clamp between
the lowest rivet and the lowest snap
on the stroller frame.
8 Tighten adjustment knob until clamp
is secure onto stroller frame.
12 Insert the U-Shaped Support Bar with the curved end pointing up or down, depending on what your car
seat requires. (See usage guide)
13 If your car seat requires the Spring Support Bar, insert the Spring Support
Bar into the front of the U-Shaped Bar by squeezing it into the open holes.
14 Place your car seat onto the U-Shaped Bar, making sure that the Spring and
Support Bars engage the locking mechanisms if/where applicable. Adjust
the U-Shaped Support Bar to proper length by sliding the U-Shaped Bar in
and out, using the car seat to ensure proper distance. The adaptor brackets
should line up with the handle hinge of the car seat.
15 Close compression locks by flipping the red latches down.
16 If applicable, place the T-Shaped Bar onto the car seat and tighten strap using D-Ring and Velcro. (figure A)
17 Secure your car seat onto the stroller using the safety belt on the Car Seat Adapter Brackets.
10a If your car seat adaptor requires the Straight Support
Bar, insert the bar on right adaptor bracket underneath
red compression lock by pressing black ribbed button.
10b Slide the Straight Support Bar into left adaptor bracket
hole to secure in place.
11 Open the compression locks on the Car Seat Adaptor
Brackets by flipping the red latches up.
1 To use with 1 child in left stroller seat and 1 child in
the car seat, make sure adaptor brackets are locked
into place on right side. Press red compression lock
down to secure adaptor into place.
2 To use with 1 child in car seat, release red
compression lock. Slide adaptor bar to the center.
Press red compression lock to secure adaptor
into place.

NOTE: If only the car seat is in use without second child, the car
seat adaptor must be locked in the center of the stroller.

9 Pull seat fabric down to re-attach to stroller frame using Velcro on and underneath footplate. To do this, thread
the Velcro strap between the frame and the adaptor bar. Re-attach snap on right side of stroller frame
above single clamp.
